Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

The type of yacht you decide upon depends entirely on you and your preferences. Our extensive offer includes sailing boats, catamarans, motor yachts, gulets, motor sailers, mini cruisers and cabin charter. Sailing boats are a wonderful choice for family vacations or carefree holidays with a group of friends whereas catamarans offer more comfort and stability aboard. If you like speed and adventure, your ideal choice would be motor boats while gulets offer a more authentic experience and come with a crew. Cabin charter is perfect for couples and individuals who don’t want to charter an entire boat. To ensure your yacht fits your preferences, bear in mind the following: the number of the charter guests, whether you require more comfort while on board and if you would require skipper’s services (in that case, it is recommended for the skipper to have its own sleeping cabin).

Of course we can provide you with an experienced, certified skipper who will take care of navigation and safety.

Our support team is available around the clock and can help you with questions or emergencies at any time.

No, you don't need any previous experience. Our boating vacations are designed so that even beginners feel comfortable right away. Our qualified skippers explain everything about the boat and make sure you feel safe. If you like, you can help with maneuvering or mooring—but of course, you can also just sit back and relax.

Safety is always our top priority. Our experienced skippers closely monitor the weather conditions and decide whether and when to sail. In strong winds or thunderstorms, the boat remains in port or an alternative route is chosen – going ashore is of course also possible. Just talk openly about your wishes. Our skippers will find the right solution in bad weather.

Our certified skippers are your experienced boat captains and ensure navigation, safety, and smooth operations on board. They know the area well and are always available to answer questions. At the same time, they respect the privacy of guests and will step back if you and your group want some time to yourselves. Decisions about the route and daily schedule are always made with safety and the wishes of the crew on board in mind.

Depending on the type of boat, you will stay in cozy double cabins or single berths. On board, there is a kitchen, bathroom, and common areas—everything you need for a comfortable vacation.

Expenses on board—such as food, port fees, and fuel—are shared between you and your crew and divided as needed, e.g., through joint shopping or shared bills.

The skipper is usually provided with meals and does not contribute to other costs, as he or she is responsible for steering and managing the boat.

Before departure, you will receive all the information you need about the port, check-in, check-out, a checklist, and your boarding pass. You are responsible for your own travel to the port. We are happy to organize an airport transfer or similar upon request.

This can happen and is completely normal, especially if it's your first trip on the water. In most cases, seasickness is harmless and short-lived. It's best to stay on deck, breathe fresh air, and focus your gaze on the horizon—this will help your balance system stabilize quickly.

Ginger (e.g., as tea or candy) or acupressure wristbands, which apply gentle pressure to specific points on the wrist, can also help. If you are sensitive, you can take travel sickness tablets as a precaution – ideally about 30 minutes before departure. Don't worry: our skippers are on hand to offer tips and support until you feel better again.

If natural remedies such as ginger or acupressure wristbands do not help sufficiently, you can resort to travel tablets or antihistamines—for example, products containing active ingredients such as dimenhydrinate (e.g., DRAMINA). These should be taken 30 minutes before departure with sufficient water. It is best to talk to your doctor or pharmacist in advance to find the right preparation for you, as some medications can cause drowsiness.

Everything you need is on board—but it's a little different than at home. Electricity and water are usually replenished in ports, and many boats have solar panels or charging ports. Many of our boats also have Wi-Fi. If there is no Wi-Fi on board, simply use your cell phone as a hotspot or connect to the Wi-Fi in the nearest port. But let's be honest – sometimes it's nice to be offline and take a break from screen time.

Absolutely! Many families participate, some even with very young children. The appropriate age depends on you as parents. A boating vacation can be a wonderful experience even with one- or two-year-olds if you are prepared and make specific arrangements. Children usually enjoy life on board particularly—there is always something to discover, and it is never boring!
